1. Overview

Penn Tennis App is a small hobby project created to help friends organize casual tennis matches. It is not a commercial service and is provided purely for recreational use.

By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. How the App Works

Players use the app to indicate when they are available to play tennis. Based on that availability, the app organizer creates and schedules matches between players.

The organizer makes a good-faith effort to create enjoyable and competitive matches, but no guarantees are made about match quality, competitiveness, player compatibility, or player behavior.

3. Volunteer Organizer

The creator and organizer of Penn Tennis App acts only as a volunteer coordinator helping to arrange recreational matches among friends. The organizer is not acting as a professional event organizer, league operator, or business.

4. Player Conduct and Participation

All tennis matches are informal recreational games between participants.

The organizer and the app do not control or supervise player behavior. Users are responsible for their own conduct and agree to treat other players respectfully.

5. Participation at Your Own Risk

Participation in tennis matches arranged through the app is voluntary and at your own risk. The creator and organizer of Penn Tennis App are not responsible for injuries, disputes, cancellations, or any issues that may occur during or after matches.

6. No Warranty

Penn Tennis App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The creator does not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creator and organizer of Penn Tennis App will not be liable for any damages, injuries, disputes, or losses related to the use of the app or participation in matches arranged through it.

8. Changes or Shutdown

Because this is a personal hobby project, the app may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time without notice.

9. Acceptance

By using Penn Tennis App, you acknowledge that this is a casual recreational tool built for fun among friends and agree to these terms.
